C est vrai que ca fait 2-3 ans qu ils sont en devellopement, et qu en Elise trophy, ils ont des resultats pas mal depuis la saison passée...

About three years ago Derek from Gaz stopped at our office to have a chat about selling Gaz. I basically told him to go as I wasn't very impressed by Gaz at that time.
There only was this one thing he told me which made me curious.. they were going to do monotubes and they would prove they'd be able to do a proper job on them.

Three years down the line Gaz has worked with several people both road and track users and in the past season they've spent a lot of time fine-tuning their product in EliseTrophy.
In fact.. they've grown from midfield to podium finishes and they're determined to get most wins in this season.

As mentioned above, they've not only done this for racing or track use only. They've also put major efforts in getting the product right for road use.

With that in mind we decided to take them on board and start stocking Gaz Monotubes.

Gaz Monotubes are priced the same over the full range, no more differences between an S1 and a Toyota engined Elise and no adders for lockrings, they are included.

Bump and rebound can be controlled using the control knob on the bottom of the damper.
All units have Multi Lip Sealing. The outer seal is a metal encased wiper to clean the piston rod. This in turn extends main seal performance and oil retention under extreme conditions.

Gaz Monotube dampers are fully serviceable with quick turn around times and low prices.

Springs used are Silicon Chrome which can be compared to Eibach in terms or weight and performance.

Gaz Monotubes clearly are in the same league as more expensive competition shocks.

Looking at the way they have entered the Elise Trophy race series there is no reason to hesitate in saying Gaz Monotubes will be the next high performance shock choice in the Elise market!

En tous cas la mienne avait des GAZ quand je l'ai achetée et j'avais l'impression qu'elle partait en morceaux... ils ont vite été à la benne et remplacés par des Bilstein de S2, comportement transfiguré. Peut être que ces nouveaux modèles sont au top et bien meilleurs mais franchement personnellement je n'ai pas été impressionné du tout par les GAZ.
